Did Microsoft Word commandeer Dropbox and covert everything saved there into Word, thereby screwing it up if you don't have a copy of Word? (I don't want to purchase it for whatever it costs now.
How can this be? Is there a way to convert a Word file back to OpenOffice Writer and regain the paragraph indentations? I tried re-saving it in. I don't have a copy of it except in Dropbox, and when I go back in there on my current laptop and try to open it, it defaults to a version converted to Word, which corrupts it and loses my paragraph indentations (and possibly other formatting details).
